JOURNEYS WITH JOY

This shoot came about from some thoughts I had been having on how we portray ourselves to the world.
There is a certain pressure to present to the world in a 'socially acceptable' way.
In a way we paint ourselves, we created an artistic persona that fits to what we beleive is acceptable.
This artistic line of thought led me to creating this photoshoot. Replacing common makeup products with drayons and pastels.
I think it also gives hope to this social paradox. If we are in control of how we look then we should do whatever we want with our style. Art is fluid, there's so many different types of art so why not embrace your unique style.
Thank you to gorgeous Anna for always embracing my ideas.
